The leading skills assessment body in Australia, **Vetassess**, states that starting October 22, 2025 the fees for getting a **skills assessment** for professional and general jobs **will increase**. The fees are being adjusted **to accommodate the inflation (CPI).** Denotes that the **set of new applications submitted after the said date are required to pay the higher fee.**
Moreover, the affected occupations were professional and general occupations as well as those under **DAMA (Designated Area Migration Agreement)** and **Industry Labour Agreements (ILA)**. While, **Trade occupations** are **not affected** by this fee change.
